Women's Walking Football Sessions Announced

FC United of Manchester are launching a new weekly Women’s Walking Football session from Tuesday 9^th May 2023, with funding from the Northern Premier League Trident funding to deliver weekly football sessions.

The sessions are aimed at Women over 40, providing a great opportunity for the local community to meet and get some weekly exercise in a fun and friendly environment.

The first session will be on Tuesday 9^th May 2023 5 – 6pm with refreshments in the club afterwards. All sessions in May will be completely free, so why not come along and try it out. Whether you are a complete beginner or have played football all your life, we welcome all abilities.

Each session will be led by one of our experienced Women’s Team footballers and will involve a warm up, some light drills and a game of football. We will be following the FA Walking Football rules, so please read them prior to joining.

The football will be played on the 3G pitch so please wear appropriate footwear.
